Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, also known as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American singer and actress. She is also a comic and radio show host. She is known also being the mother of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico as well as being the daughter of comedian Raul Vale. In 1973, she's credited for the creation of the La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) music genre that topped the charts and made Angelica Maria the first Latin artist to have sold two million copies throughout the United States. In 1974, she began dating Venezuelan comic and performer Raul Vale. She married him in April of 1975. It was the first marriage to be televised in Mexico.
